Team TGM has a facility just a block or two from Road Atlanta and the entire team enjoys racing around the Georgia track (above).

One of the busiest tseams competing in International GT is Team TGM. The team owner, Ted Giovanis will often race his 3.8 liter Porsche in IGT, but we’ve also seen his IMSA entries (AMG’s last year and a switch for the team to Chevy this year) in the IGT Exhibition category. Ted has surrounded himself with some veteran sportscar drivers in Team Manager, Joe Varde and driver’s (and brothers) Hugh and Matt Plumb as well as Owen Trinkler.

With a broad range of experience and talent, the team won the IMSA 2018 Championship with Hugh Plumb and Owen Trinkler. Will Ted go after the International GT Mission Foods GT3 Cup Championship this year? We’ll find out when we resume racing at Road America in a couple weeks!
