Amelia Island, FL – November 14, 2014 – The 2014 Championship will come down to the final races at Daytona and Sebring.
The championship will be scored on the best six sprint races and the best six endures of the 2014 season which started at Road Atlanta in April and will conclude at Sebring in December.
With four sprint races and four enduros scheduled at the final 2 races the championship is really up for grabs.
Sales, Faver, Gray, Dicken, Sullivan, LeQueux, Schneider and Riddell all have podium finishes this season which put them in the running for The Stuttgart Cup Championship.
The Mission Foods GT Trophy Cup is up for grabs between eight drivers. Steve White, Johnny Gray, Wayne Wilerson, Terry Gray, Juan Lopez Santini, Frank Beck, Jeffrey Freeman, and Randy Cassling all have a shot at the Championship.
This weekend’s Daytona Historics will play host to a large field of competitors gunning for a shot at the Championship.
The Cayman and Boxster classes hosts a large field of talented drivers.
Matt Dicken will return to competition in the #139 yellow hippie Cayman S along with Dominique Lequeux in the #301 MOMO Cayman S. Mark Sandridge and the Sandridge Salad #49 Cayman S will be seeking another podium sweep this weekend while points-leader Bill Riddell in the #05 aims to defend his lead from young-gun Rodrigo Sales and the #88 Jagermeister Cayman S.
John and Paul Reisman will pilot the #70 Boxster in the Boxster class.
Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy hosts a diverse field of drivers eager to claim the podium. Many drivers are new to Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy competition and will be gunning to claim their inaugural race victory at the iconic Daytona International Speedway.
The 996 class hosts drivers Jeffery Freeman, Jack Gilsdorf, Lionel Meunier and Alex Welch.
The 997 class hosts points-leader Juan Lopez Santini, Steve White, Lance Wilsley and James Sofronas.
Both Sofronas and Welch are successful Pirelli World Challenge competitors.
The 2013 Champions were awarded packages that included Pirelli Tires, a Costa Rica Resort Vacation at Pacifico and Palm Beach Driving Club Membership.

Both The Stuttgart Cup™ and the Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA by Car Amigo are managed by Americas Cup GT L.L.C. Both championships are sprint and endurance series with The Stuttgart Cup™ open to all Porsche Caymans and Boxsters and Mission Foods GT3 open to all 2000 and later Porsche 911 GT3s and related models. Rules for both series are centered on power to weight ratio. All competing Stuttgart Cup cars must compete with stock make and model engine and transmissions with approved allowances for exhaust and intake modifications. Stuttgart Cup organizers also welcome all competitors with existing race-prepared Caymans or Boxsters to compete with body and engine modifications balanced within series power to weight ratio parameters. All such competitors will not be eligible for championship points or class-designated race wins, but the door is always open to all Cayman and Boxster competitors to get in on the action.
