Round 2 - Road Atlanta Race Registration
There are so many iconic parts that make the 2.5 miles of Road Atlanta. Each of the 12 turns has it’s own special features that adds up to a challenging circuit in the Northeast Georgia red clay hills.
After a very successful Round 1 at Sebring, we are looking forward to bringing the championship to our traditional second event in Braselton, GA.

California Transport/Race Support
Looking for a way to get to the International GT races at California’s famed Sonoma Raceway and Laguna Seca? One of the top IGT teams TLM USA is headed west with several of their cars, however they have space for one more competitor’s car to make the trip with them. 2023 Awards Presentation
As has become our tradition, Sebring’s Gallery of Legends was the location for the 2023 International GT Awards presentation. We were honored once again to have 5 time Le Mans winner and International GT ambassador, DEREK BELL on hand to thrill us with outstanding snippets from his storied racing career and help hand out the Champion’s hardware.

The Champions received a beautiful trophy, Pirelli prize package including 4 racing tires, a championships hat and jacket and a gorgeous custom made Detroit Watch!
One of the most anticipated moments of the evening is the announcement of the two International GT special awards, the Bob Akin Award and the Derek Bell Le Mans Trophy. Both of these awards are given with great consideration in acknowledging the outstanding contributions to International GT, motorsports, family and community of two exceptional individuals.
The Bob Akin Award
ORAZIO MASTRACCHIO, Pirelli
The award criteria for any International GT driver, sponsor, team manager or crew member that displays the following characteristics.
A passion for motorsports and automobiles, a history of involvement in successful amateur or pro racing, a high level of sportsmanship and fair play, sharp wit and mischievous sense of humor, an articulate and courteous presence, broad range of interests and meticulous attention to detail, a record of contribution to motorsports and the community, devotion to family and friends
The award is the actual IMSA Championship Camel GT trophy that Bob won in 1984. This trophy is presented by Hudson Historics, Bob’s race team.
The Derek Bell Le Mans Trophy “Spirit of Competition”
STEPHEN HAMMAN
This award is the 24 Hours of Le Mans trophy that Derek raised on the podium winning the 54th running at La Sathe in 1986. It’s awarded to the International GT competitor who has shown exemplary sportsmanship, professionalism, camaraderie and competitive spirit. Stephen was unable to attend the Sebring race but the trophy was in good hands accepted by Molly and Jim Hamman (aka Mom and Dad).
