Watkins Glen International Registration Now Open

One of the most popular circuits in North America, International GT’s annual stop at Watkins Glen International is a great way to restart our season after the summer break. September will be here before we know it with the race scheduled for September 9-13.

Team Profile Hudson Historics

Hudson Historics was founded by Bob Akin, the New York businessman and IMSA sportscar race team owner and driver from Ossining, NY.  Bob’s legacy is confirmed with several honorary awards in his name. The legacy of professionalism and excellence is carried on by long time motorsports crew chief Gordon Eggleston, as Hudson HIstorics has become one of the leaders in sportscar and vintage racing. What started small quickly grew to be one of the premiere racing teams on the East Coast. Having outgrown their previous shop in Ossining,NY, Hudson Historics has relocated and expanded in Warwick, NY, to continue the tradition of providing quality service and driver care.

The 1984 IMSA Camel GT Championship trophy is donated by Hudson Historics and awarded by International GT as the Bob Akin Award.  The award signifies the character and qualities of the IMSA Champion Bob Akin.  Ted Giovanis, owner of Team TGM, who competes in both International GT and IMSA Michelin Pilot Series, was the 2019 recepient . Past honorees include Paul and John Riesman 2016 (pictured above left/top) and from left above Mark Sandridge 2014 , Bill Riddell 2013 (founder of IGT), Juan Gonzalez 2017 and Tony Parella 2018 (owner of SVRA and Trans Am).
